Default EZGO 1990 Marathon help identify parts

I need help identifying a part on my EZGO Marathon 1990. I'm trying to bring her back to life, doesn't help that I have no idea what I am doing. It has a toggle switch mounted next to the ignition switch. One red wire going to a battery and the orange wire going all the way back to what looks like a second solenoid that connects to the motor. This second solenoid also has a green wire that goes back to the FNR. I have including pics of the toggle switch, FNR and the second solenoid? Also included pic of what I believe is the standard solenoid, controller and potentiometer. Anybody know what this switch is used for? Thanks in advance!

I’d guess some sort of field weakening to speed up the motor. There are some discussions about it on here, including a thread I started a couple weeks ago.

Thanks LukeL - I had a hunch it was something like that. Since I'm more of the "hope I connected the right wires" and see if it runs type, I'll probably remove these connections and re-wire according to the schematics I have found on this forum.
