Again, thank you JonnieB and ScottyB!! I put the extra battery in for a test with no issues. My top speed went from about 20 to 25. I'm sure the torque is increased but it was hard to feel it by the "seat of the pants". The biggest improvement I made was going to the Alltrax controller. That seemed to make a night and day difference. I will go with either the 42 or 48 volt but I will wait until I get a new motor as I am guessing the old one won't last long with this set up.

36v motor should run just fine on 48v.
It appears you already have a controller for the higher voltage. So you'd need the solenoid, cables and charger. I think that about covers the difference for the remaining components. |

I've got the solenoid and cables but I am guessing the motor will go fairly quick with this set up. Give me a reason to buy a better motor!
