Intermittently stops for no reason
I have a 2005 EZGO Model TXTE Serial # 2253728 Date Code D1305. It stops intermittently. It will not go in forward or reverse. After operating the throttle a multiple times it will start and run fine. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting this problem?

Re: Intermittently stops for no reason
Sounds like a sluggish microswitch in pedal box.
EZGO uses the NC (Normally Closed) contacts to activate the solenoid and what closes the NC contacts after the lever is released, is a itty-bitty spring that breaks or wears out. As debris builds up and the spring gets weaker, it eventually stops working every time. |
