Default 1995 Ezgo F/R Switch

I have a 1995 Ezgo Medalist DCS. I am trying to figure out how to remove the F/R switch so I can replace the rear body. Here are a couple pictures of the switch. Ant help would be appreciated.

If I remember right, there’s a screw that needs to be removed and then it twists apart

There is a diagram floating around here that shows how to convert it to a rocker switch. Johnnieb has posted it several times. It's pretty simple to do I think.

unless you put the metal body back on, you'll have to change the switch anyway. the change is real easy to do with the diagram above

I was just thinking you might want to upgrade it to a more modern and more simple switch. That is a rare one.
