Default 97 club car motor and controller upgrade

So I'm saving to do this up grade. I want some opinions on what controller and motor and anything else I would want to do while I'm doing the upgrade i know i will have to change the wire harness to the new IQ style. The cart has a 6" lift and 23" tires on it. looking for most torque I can get using it around farm and for hunting thanks.

Here are some options to look at https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/c...-club-car-prec

Here are some packages https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/u...-packages-dsiq Level 5 is the all torque package.

Should I get the "tuner" for lack of knowing what there called so you can adjust easy. Anyone who has been down this road and put the big motor and controller in please chime in love to here everyone's thoughts

I recently bought the alltrax SR48500, 2g wires, upgraded F/R, and Plum Quick Rattlesnake motor after tons of research.

Will update with a thread once I get it all in to let everyone know what I think.

I ~believe you are referring to the Alltrax Tool kit so you can custom tune it to your liking. If you by from Revolution or any reputable supplier, they will program the Controller for you which will have the Field Map to correlate with the specific motor you have. From there you can adjust the amps up or down, voltages, throttle curves, etc.

The Tool Kit is a free download from Alltrax and runs on your Laptop PC with a USB Printer cable to connect you to the Alltrax Controller.

If you think the cart is expensive you do NOT want a UTV. Kawasaki and Polaris parts are $$$$.

This is true. It's probably not the most fair comparison but I don't know what to expect after doing the controller and motor swap. I have never been around a "hotrodded" golf cart I have been on many utvs
