Default Diagnosis - Cart not Moving

Ok, admittedly I know nothing about golf carts. Now thats out of the way, I was hoping one of you smart fellows or Gals could help me out. My golf cart (2013 EZGO Gas TXT) has not shown any signs of trouble. So here is what I can tell you; I was on my way to a friends camper went over a speed bump (Slowly of course) when I went to accelerate my cart jumped a little and then would not move. Seems to start ok. Here is a video of what it is doing. Tell me this isn't really bad!!!!!

Normally they strip the left hub. Will it go in reverse ?

Nope, won't go in reverse either. It's so weird to have no signs at all and then boom...

I don't think it's a hub this time. I don't see the driven clutch moving.

remove the belt and jack the rear tires off the ground. can you spin the rear clutch by hand?

Honestly not sure, I will check to see if I can do that. I do know that I can't push the cart at all when in gear. Almost like the brake is on, however it does free spin while in neutral.

That's bad. If it's in gear it should still push, it will just be harder to push because it's turning the clutches and possibly the motor. IT sounds to me like something has let loose in the rear end causing it to bind up, (pinion gear?) but unfortunately, from this end of a computer screen it's impossible to tell without tearing it down.

I thought maybe something came apart in the brakes causing it to lock up but if that were the case you wouldn't be able to push it in neutral.

I apologize, I was really busy and I didn't take the time to view the video clip. I did look before I left my work place. It was indeed not moving. Good eyes CP241 . Mine are much older than yours

I think something has happened to the differential . Have you checked to see if it has oil in it ? Dang , these differentials are built tough. Maybe it has been leaking and you didn't see it ?

Alright here is what I found after bringing the cart home so I could work on it. I jacked it up and could not turn the rear clutch ( I guess that is what its called). So, I decided to bully it a little and found that the back plate of the clutch was close to the engine. I pushed it forward back into place and everything was turning. However, when I put the jack down and accelorated the back plate goes back towards the engine and stops. Does this mean I need a new rear clutch or is there a part that I can just replace on the clutch?
