Make sure when you put the new one in that you check the voltage regulator and its not charging at 17 plus volts. That will destroy a starter quick too

This starter on our site is an OEM unit, and it comes with a pulley.

Now THAT ^^^^^^^^^ [comes with a pulley] ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ is IMPORTANT information to know. You DON'T want to get into pulling the old pulley off of your gen.

Yeah no kidding! I have a special “pulley puller” for those type pulleys and I still ruined one on a starter a few months ago. It was definitely stuck on there. New one from David went on with a lot of anti-seize!
