Default Can someone clarify the torque for install drive clutch... &where i can get a new 1

Sheared when reinstalling the clutch on my 2006 carryall, fe350.
Any places to avoid when ordering a new one?
And someone want to clarify the torque for re-install? Is it not 25 ft lbs?

Never mind on the bolt, i had thought for some reason they were hard to find. I must have been thinking of something else as i was staring at the clutch rolling around on the floor...

But, torque to reinstall?

this is what i found in my 2008 DS manual

Quote:
DRIVEN CLUTCH INSTALLATION
1. To install the driven clutch, reverse the removal procedure. Make sure that the washer (12) is mounted
with the flat portion of the washer against the driven clutch (Figure 17-18, Page 17-14). Secure with a
new bolt (11 ). See following NOTE.
NOTE: The bolt (11) must be replaced with a new bolt (CCI PIN 102242101) containing a locking patch
that will prevent the bolt from loosening.
2. Tighten the bolt (11) to 18 ft-lb (24.4 N·m).

I never bothered to torque one I just run them on with my 1/4" electric impact.

Look on that bolt head. Does it have 6 dashes on the head or 3?
It should have 6, because it should be a grade 8 bolt. If it only has 3 it's the wrong bolt.

Of course it could have been over-torqued at some point in the past, or possibly stretched or worked loose. Hopefully the remaining section comes out easily.

Yeah, definitely not grade 8. Snapped at the threads pretty much just as the clutch assembly stopped advancing onto the crank. Weak.

The remaining threads came out without much of a struggle so now just waiting on a replacement.

Thanks, guys.
