RXV Rear Axle Bearing, Part Alternative?

Ok, the driver side rear wheel has been sorta wobbly for some time, and now it's making a "grinding sound", most notable when turning. Assuming it's the bearing, part #620343, is there an automotive part # that is easy to source?

If a new bearing doesn't fix the wobble, I'll get a new hub as well.

the axle bearing is a 6004rs. your best bet is to pull the axle and inspect the parts before getting anything.

Yep, available at just about any parts store.

Also, assuming the hub is warped, who makes a good one?

KOYO used to be made in Japan , and is well known. Hope they haven't moved production to china.

I see they are available in 6004 2RS, 2 rubber seals. These OK?

yes, that is the one. when you dis-assemble the rear and pull the axles, check to make sure that the bearing seats tightly to the axle. I have seen plenty of RXV's that the axle freely sides in and out of the inner bearing race or the axle tube. Also check that the hub and axle splines are clean and not damaged or worn, particularly at the end of the axle and the inside of the hub. this will cause wobble and noise. good luck.
