Go to a solenoid with higher amp rated contacts. 200A at least.

As JB stated buy the high amp ones and make sure they are American made.

I have always been careful to use "continuous duty" solenoids that are meant to have current through them at all times the cart is running. A lot of solenoids are limited duty and are meant to only have current though during the starting process.

I assume your talking of the 1 solenoid that the swiper arm attaches to. The solenoid should only be on when the gas pedal is pushed not with the key switch. If it's wired so it activates when the key is turned on then it stays hot all the time and after awhile will burn up as you are talking about.

The solenoid should be wired so it comes on when the gas pedal barely is engaged and the micro switch over the swiper arm engages. When the pedal is released the micro switch cuts the solenoid off.
