Melting around the terminal of the controller
I’m changing batteries and making cables on the superfast precedent. Clearly I’m getting some heat from the controller here, but don’t know if the resistance is at the terminal or the controller itself. Ideas? Cart does 27 with an unknown motor. New cables are 2 gauge of course.

Re: Melting around the terminal of the controller
That is typically the result of a poor connection, perhaps due to "trapped" heat-shrink tube between the lug and terminal surface.
