Running the stock motor at 48v ups both the speed and the torque by 33.3%.
At 42V, you get a 16.7% increase on both. Ironically, the motor runs cooler at the higher voltage because it takes fewer amps at higher voltage to do the same amount of work. |

I don't have the stock motor anymore. I have the D&D one in the first post. Supposed to have 8.8 HP so there should be some room even at 36v for now.

Wow! Props to scottyb. Placed order yesterday. After correspondence and answering questions new XCT500 kit programmed and shipped out same day. Should be here by 12/15. I'm off for the rest of the year after the 16th so PROJECT TIME!

Package showed up already, Can't start for a couple days but reviewing manuals and instructions several times over in the meantime. Instructions refer to photos on this site but there is no url for the page or thread. Can anyone point me to the right place? Location for new solenoid mount is the first thing. Thanks for any help!
