Default Quick OBC Question

Hi All,

I bought a replacement OBC for an '04 DS. The part number on the package and OBC are correct and the package states '98 up.

When I opened it today, instead of the grey wire with half of the yellow fuse holder that runs inside the convoluted tube, I have a very short purple wire with a female bullet type connector. All else is the same as the existing OBC.

I've searched both here and online and can't find anything relevant.

Am I just joining the grey wire that runs to the fuse holder to the purple or have I been sold a pup?

Thanks in advance,
Rob
