That's an expensive little picture you posted there if you ever have to buy one. If you're not careful which plug you unplug that can ride off with a cart into the anals of history.

Ok, update on the grey cable. It goes under the floor and up into the dash under the cup holder and is then spliced into a wire harness that part of goes to some sort of relay. Any ideas? Pics below.

Well it's not the cable I thought it was for sure. At the moment I'm a little lost on this one.

A couple of years ago I tore down an RXV for complete rebuild and ran across a wiring debacle something similar to that. It had me perplexed as to just what in blazes it was, but I took it all out and stuffed it in a drawer. I found out later that it was a GPS tracking devise, should the cart ever be stolen. I still have it tucked away I think. Have to take a second look at it. I think it had been installed by EzGo under a contractual arrangement with the lessee golf course.

This is the first cart I have ever owned so I'm not yet familiar with any of the wiring. I'm a little leary to start disconnecting stuff like that.

The only accessory installed so far is the light kit and the dealer I bought the cart from has it connected to one of the 4 12v batteries...[emoji35]. I've got a voltage reducer and fuse block on order to resolve that and provision for future upgrades.

Why that would be tapped into the diagnostic circuit I have no idea. I am lost. As for the passkey adapter cable my local dear just gave me one. Part number for reference is 647220 $32

Any idea what that relay may be for? I was thinking maybe factory brake lights but I don't think this cart came with that since it has had an aftermarket light kit added.

It is possible someone tapped into the diagnostic port for a constant 15 volts but that won’t activate a 48 volt relay. The normal brake light relay from Ezgo I believe is 24 volts but I think can be turned up to 48. Activation wires should be red and purple under the cup holder. Other than that I haven’t a clue.
