Default 2009 YDRE 48V charging issue - loose red wire

Hi team.
First time here.

I have carried out a search but couldn't find anything specific that I was after.

My son used my cart and had to have it towed home because it stopped.
I noticed yesterday that when on the charger, the usual indicator lights weren't showing up.

I found this loose red wire.
From the wiring diagram it looks like the red from the charging port goes to a relay.

If this is correct, where would I find this relay?

It should go to the Positive Battery Terminal or on the Solenoid where the positive wire goes. It's behind the seat - remove the plastic panel to access it.

Actually that red wire should go directly to the positive terminal of the first battery not shown in the picture. Its common for this lug to break. The negative wires arent looking so good either.

Attaching it to the solenoid only gives you additional connections to corrode while charging.

Here's a picture of my Yamaha Ydre project, main positive seems to be correct.

By the way, shown Trojans were 11 years old and still alive

That's impressive. That configuration is not known for it's longevity.
It would be interesting to do a discharge test just to see how well they are doing.

I've got that cart cheap with unknown history and it's sold in the meantime... My current RXV came with Trojan T-1260 installed, 5 years old. I've got one more year out of them, then one battery was failing. Commercially used in a golf resort before. There is no guarantee
