Default Club Car Li-On 2021 Tempo Stops Running After 5 Minutes, Displays "Fault"

We are the second owners of a 2021 Club Car Tempo Li-On. On a fully charged battery, it will run for 4-10 minutes, then shut down in the middle of a drive unexpectedly. The cart dash display will then show the error: "FAULT" (no numbers). The battery level will also show ~96% (so, presumably ample charge).

When it first happened, I tried to power the cart down, pulled out the key, flip between Tow/Run, etc...all in an attempt to reset the Fault. Nothing worked.

However, I've realized that if I simply plug the charger into the cart I will hear a 'click' at which point I can then immediately unplug it....and, the FAULT code goes away. The cart becomes drivable again for a short while before this cycle happens again.

Plugging in the charger cord resets 'something' that allows the cart to run for a bit (note: the battery claims to be 95-100% charged during this entire cycle described above).

Any thoughts or troubleshooting steps?

Do you have access to the BMS settings on your lithium batteries? That's where you need to check. Your battery is shutting down.

I can obviously access the physical area under the seat for the battery, however, I do not have the diagnostic equipment/skills to know how to access the BMS and its settings. But have started to google this topic to see if I can learn.
