Default Club car potentiometer readings

2004 DS/Carryall running super slow. Checked readings on potentiometer and got 5.1k wot and 9 to 10k at rest (should be zero) so I changed potentiometer with a new one and am getting same readings. Could this be a controller issue? The old potentiometer had uneven wear and looked rough so I figured that would have been the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Btw it’s the silver Curtis controller.

To me it sounds like your meter is out of calibration. First change the batteries if they are still reading high try another meter.

Ok well my reading were off due to not using the correct wires. Figured the correct one out and am getting 0k at rest and 3.8k wot. Can’t get it to 5k for some reason.
