jmz -- and anyone else who has painted their seats -- Are you happy with the results? Would you do it again? It looks very shiny.

I'd like to do my seats and top in black, but don't want to make a big mistake.

Looks like ity did pretty good. I have to touch up one spot but the rest of it seems like it is on for good. I am going to paint my top with Krylon Fusion.

I painted part of the seats in my sand car 26 yrs. ago and they still look good. It's a vinyl paint specific to this application at auto parts stores. Works good!!

As long as it looks as good as the original seats and top I'll be OK. Thanks for the info

Use quick connects, spade crimps, barrel crimps. They also sell stick blocks that you can wire tie to. Run your wires up and away from places where snow, ice or mud can pull them down. They also sell wire loom. Its the same stuff that auto makers use to run bundle wires. Its the best method to protect and hide wiring. Its split on one side and snaps over the wires. Comes in many diameters. My own personal preference is to run them on top of the frame or inside tube. Watch for sharp edges. Try not to bend wire at extreme 90 deg angles. It puts stress on the insulation.
