I've attached a portion from a 2006-2007 Precedent manual where they suggest Straight 30w oil in the Electric differential. I purchased Synthetic Purple 30w for mine online for around $8.

There ya go Great observation.

I personally found that my 06 Precedent drained out 22oz of 30w... what it's filled with from the factory... but when I filled it back until if flowed out the fill hole it took just shy of 32oz or the complete quart bottle of Purple 30w. Believe me I measured both. (Yes the cart was level!)

Don't use 10w-30, use straight 30.

The base oil in 10w-30 is 10 weight, it is the oil additives that thicken the oil up as it gets hot. When those additives start to wear out, the oil no longer gets up to a 30 weight. So, you'll be running something much thinner than you should.

Granted, you can change the oil in your diff more frequently, but going with something like Royal Purple 30 weight is cheap insurance.

The drain and fill bolts are on the driver side of the differential, one is about level with the axles and the other is located at the bottom. As far as grease fittings... I'm not sure but would assume they're standard fittings. I have a lift kit that doesn't have fittings.

Standard Nipple Fitting is 1/4 so that is what I have just haven't tried it to see if it fits but I am thinking it should
Does anyone know the size of the bolt for the differential maybe someone might also have a picture they can post with arrows pointing to the 2 bolts (fill and drain)
