A little persuasion from a rubber mallet did the trick for me. Keep rotating it so as not to get it in a bind on the shaft. Gentle now.....its just aluminum too!

The clutch and the trans-axle are both cast aluminum so you want to be careful hitting or prying on either of them.

i just called a local club car dealer that works on them and i asked if they sold a puller and they said that they dont make them for those bc they should slide right off, i would hate to hit it anymore and end up busting the Axel ect.....

Soak it with some PB Blaster or something overnight. and I know this may sound really mean, but you do have the bolt out of the center of it right? LOL Sometimes you just gotta asK!

this is odd i have never seen that clutch that wouldn,t come off after center bolt was removed they most of the time just fall off.............good luck with it if your not far along i would put the bolt back in a little more than hand tight put the cart in maintence mode use some more pb blaster both sides and run the cart a while it might just heat the clutch up enough that it will come off............................................... .
