Default how much oil after a lift.

ok, I feel kind of like a bum because I am pretty sure I have read before how much oil I need to put in my 97 g16, I just put the lift kit on this last week so now I know the dipstick will no longer answer my question. So here goes, how much mobile 1 10W-30 oil do I need to buy?

I really did try to search out the answer but just had no luck.

tomorrow an oil change and the fender flares go on!

Thanks I was pretty sure that was what I had read. I guess I could have gone with my gut but didn't want to take a chance.

NO better not to chance it with these motors. If you over fill the oil it will go up the valve cover breather tube and ruin your air filter.

Put a qt in and mark the stick there after a lift is installed. Want to be really cool, spend a couple bucks and use 1 qt of synthetic instead that is what I do lol. Mine never burns any I hardly ever check it. It will make a huge mess in the aircleaner if you overfill, in fact I have to order a filter for someone that just did that, loaned the cart out and it was overfilled. Its not even lifted must have been a brilliant person to do that.
