Re: Jon's G9 build
Jon,
I don't have a radio in mine, but I have freinds that have put the radio in the dash inside the glove box. That way they can lock it up. The speakers are usually put in the body on each side of the shifter. You could build an overhead dash if you have a roof for both radio and speakers. |

Re: Jon's G9 build
I did a little more work on the old G9 this weekend. I think the 20" tires still look small, I should get some 22's. How big will fit on my 5" lift?
The paint is just camo paint, kinda hillbilly but "honey badger don't care" The metal bar the holds the front clip together was very rusty so I coated that with chassis saver also. |

Re: Jon's G9 build
I ditched my 20's for 22's as well. You should be okay with your lift.

Re: Jon's G9 build
Coming alone just great. Nothing wrong with camo look. My old G9 is covered with the green camo. Tough paint.

Re: Jon's G9 build
I've been working a lot on the buggy.
I painted the seat body and cut holes for my new speakers. The speakers sound great!!! 20 bucks from Meijer, Boss 6 1/4 300 watt 3 way. I wanted MB Quartz butt this is a budget build... The deck is a Aiwa 40x4 CD/tuner/MP3 input. The metal picture is the front bumper made to hold my lights and my future front rack i will build. I also modified the center console and added a 12volt dual input for charging i pods, and spotlights ect. And three holes for my switches for lights, radio, and neons. Finally, I made a cheesy wood dash for my CD deck. I just ordered my new clutch!! Should have it this week. I'll post pics or video of me doing wheelies |

Re: Jon's G9 build
I just installed the Plowmans clutch kit for my G9 and put the cart back together today. Lets just say I didn't get stuck. I climbed a 15 foot tall topsoil pile at a 45 degree angle. I drove threw loose sand, no problemo. I drove through mud and wood trails and over trees, this thing is amazing for a one wheel peel golf cart! I will finish my stereo and front bumper within the week and update the pics.
