very stubborn input bearing
The problem child is a 92 E-Z Go Marathon. The rear input bearings are grinding severely so after researching a few threads I'm tring to remove it. The motor has been removed and so has the c-clip that holds the bearings and shaft in. My problem is that the thing is supposed to slide out and it won't budge. I've read the idea of drilling a small hole in the back of the housing and driving the thing out with a rod, but I'm hesitant to do that despite the fact that I'm out of ideas. There's no shoulder behind the spline on the input shaft so there's nothing to grip.
