Default How to tell if Fuel Pump is good or bad on G1?

How can i tell if the fuel pump has gone bad or if its fine? Please Help dont have much time before its needed for a camping trip. Thanks Bryan

i just take the line off the carb & turn the engine over.should squirt gas out.

right now it turns over spits and sputters(sounds like it wants to run) but fuel filter is empty, i have spark, any idea's?

Is the filter clogged to the point that it will not let any fuel into it?

Well that was an easy fix guys. Pump works fine. It was the 3 or 4 wires that run on the bottom of the motor on the fan side of the motor. One of them came lose. Plugged it in and off she went! :)

Let this be a lesson to anyone with starting/running problems with their carts... Have a good look around and check for loose or disconnected wiring. I've done it, you've done it, we've all done it....we didn't check before we started looking somewhere else....and there it was, that one little wire that we didn't even look at. Can't say for sure how many times but I've done it lots. Glad you got it covered!
