We typically start at the middle point of the front of the seat and tack a couple staples in, from there we move directly across the seat to the rear and tack a couple in there, at point you will need to pull on the seat cover to get the fabric nice and smooth. The idea is to try and pull the same amount of pressure on the fabric as you staple along, this will give you an even looking seat. From that point we then go directly on to the sides in the center and tack a couple staples in them, then from there we work our way tacking all the material on working back and forth to keep the wrinkles out.

It's not hard if you take your time and do it right!
Time to look for someone around here to do it for me!

Heyjude,

There's nothing to it! I did my golf cart all 4 seat's with covers that are made for my seats. It took about 2 hrs. I felt so good about it I redid the pontoon boats seats also.

Get R done..
Good luck
Steve

Won't say the name but a "little" place over in Waynesboro I just wanted the plain ole factory look. There are a couple of sponsors here that do it as well but don't know about shipping. If you get the material, it isn't hard. I have done them. I was just being lazy. When I picked up the new material we was standing there holding a seat already done.. ding ding ding... No brainer for me..

There is a guy in town that will do it for me for less than $80 dollars for front and rear seats. This is worth it to me, cause if I screw it up, it will cost me more than that just to replace the vinyl. Anyone ever see the seats done with the SunBrella material? I was thinking that may look nice and not be so hot on the behind.

$80 is a good price. Was that just a wrapping or was that a stretch to fit like factory ?

That is stretch and padding if necessary. He did my four-wheeler grip seat and he did a great job, that was a plastic backing too.

Next question, do we have sponsors here that sell custom seat covers?
