Default 2002 EZGO 36v TXT to 36v PDS Speed Controller?

I have an '02 EZGO TXT electric golf cart, with stock txt speed controller/stock electronics. I was wondering if it would be a possibility to upgrade to a 36v PDS speed controller? Would that be a possible swap, or would more things need to be replaced? Also, what performance differences would I notice?

Thanks for your responses!

It sounds like your '02 is a series or fleet cart and changing systems from a series to sepex like the PDS requires more than just a controller.

Lots more, as in, most people decide it is just not worth converting from one drive system to another.

I'm about to do one but started with an empty shell with exception of the ITS. Moving the FNR switch to cover the shifter hole in the body and found a wiring harness for a DCS cart.. gathering parts and I will start a build thread once I get them all..
