Gasket PN for Differential Cover?
I supposedly ordered one for "all '78 and up EZGO Gas or Electric" carts. The one I received clearly isn't the right one though. The vendor I ordered it from couldn't shed much light on the problem
Does anyone happen to know the right part number for the differential cover gasket on a 2002 EZGO Series TXT? Thank you, Pat Arnold |

Re: Gasket PN for Differential Cover?
This may or not help Pat. I use part # 3M form-a-gasket
I like the Blue RTV silicone it seals up good and fills all the imperfections. Scottyb |

Re: Gasket PN for Differential Cover?
Scott, I'm certainly good with that idea --good thinking! Seems that may have been the way it was when I disassembled it. I was afraid it may weep being the two dissimilar metals and all thus my pursuit for a gasket.
I'll give it a try. Thanks! Pat |

Re: Gasket PN for Differential Cover?
Just a note...The Black RTV is "Universal",it covers the full range of the different RTVs':Blue(low to medium-temp) and Orange/Red(medium to high-temp),and its' actually a little easier to work with(smoother, softer consistency, easier to spread).try to get a nice even, consistent bead, and if you apply it to a housing, make sure it doesn't enter any blind-holes,it will split the case hydraulically.Hope this helps.
