Re: Buggy pitching/bouncing....help
The differences in the frame-bracket measurements tell me that someone repaired/replaced a bracket and placed it incorrectly. With a difference in that dimension side to side,it will cause a lean(which you see in the frame to axle dimension)It will also make the shackles sit at different angles.I would get the rear spring brackets on the frame corrected at some point(cut off and reweld). The center-hole in the axle-bracket will also throw things off if it is too big for the center-bolt.When you have the frame welded, have them close up the holes a little bit.Hope this all helps.

Re: Buggy pitching/bouncing....help
pachanga, it has helped a ton. My best friend is a welder, so at some point I will have him re-weld it. He is cheap help, usually any free beer.
Thanks everyone for the help. Now do you know how to tighten the steering. |

I was talking this over with my friend and we can to an interesting question.
Which side is wrong? do I lengthen the shorter side or shorten the longer side? |

Re: Buggy pitching/bouncing....help
did you by chance spin the tire and see if you have an out of round issue. I have seen alot of tires for these carts with this problem.

Re: Buggy pitching/bouncing....help
What you want to end up with,is that the spring eye is below the frame-bracket.You want to get it as close as possible,If its' forward or rearward,it can affect travel. You ideally want the shackles to be angled slightly to the rear at the lower-bolt when the cart is on the ground.I would unbolt the shackles and see which hanger is closer to the spring-eye center, and move the one that is farther off.Hope this makes it a little easier to understand.
