So a quick voltage reducer question - Do these reducers need have a key switch connection so that the reducer is not on until the key is turned on? I have not purchased one yet but wanted a 30 amp one for my 2009 RXV.

some if not most do. I put mine on a flip switch that I had down by the F/R handle but I have since abandoned that. All my accessories have on/off buttons and I don't think it pulls that much if any when everything is off
