Re: Western Golf Car/ need year of frame to lift
Thanks for the update. It's strange that the serial comes back as a 2006 according to that last 2 digits of serial......

Re: Western Golf Car/ need year of frame to lift
I know this is an old thread, but any western cart owners can check their ser.#s with
Lido Motors USA. I was able to get the year on my 2 westerns in a day from them |

Re: Western Golf Car/ need year of frame to lift
Serial # 400 is Model # 026 looks like date built Feb. 06 or Feb '96 and 13306 is the production number. Google up Lido Motors USA, they make Westerns and have some manual info available on-line. You can also forward questions to them and they usually respond quickly, but do distribute these questions to their dealers for follow-up. Contact at Lido is Jeff Pense(spelling) or mike.jameson@lidomotorsusa.com . They are located in CA near Palm Springs.

Re: Western Golf Car/ need year of frame to lift
Hi, For westerns generally the formula for the year is the first 3 numbers are the model of western that you have, the next 2 numbers are the month and year the cart was manufactured. As your serial number indicates and as you have said you have a model 400 most likely produced in january of 1999 and sold new as a 2000? First time I have seen 3 zeros in a row in serial #. When I emailed western many years ago that is the info that they gave me. Post a photo and I will see if I can narrow it down for you as far as drive system.
