I had a 1/2 lab - 1/2 shepherd that averaged one squirrel a week. Once they learn the trick, they look just like a cat stalking its prey. Had a stray cat in college that did the same with birds. Supposedly, a wild animal bringing you dead prey is a big deal. Trying the same, I tied a string around the dead bird, and hung it from a tree in the front yard, so the cat could bat it around. Naturally that was the day the Landlord came by for a visit, and sees a dead bird in a noose hanging from a tree branch near the front door.

God knows what he thought. Devil worshiping sacrificial...

I've always appreciated cats' ability to kick a$$.

Prolly the "wildest" of all domestic animals. Been around dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, etc., but cats kick butt.

Also gave some though about calling my buddy who has a python, and buys "farm grown" rats - disease free, but figure I'll keep him for now.

Um, Cats aren't domesticated ... humans are tolerated so long as they continue to bring food.

That pic above looks like one Ninja Kitty.
