Default EZGO axle puller?

Hey guys! I've got a 2005 ST350 up on the lift. The transmission needs service so I'm trying to take the axles out of the transmission so it will just drop out. I got the passenger axle loose and removed via a slide hammer, but the driver's side axle I can NOT get this d*** thing to even budge. I don't think these axles have ever been out before. So my question is, does EZGO make a special tool, like a puller, to pull these axles out? Thanks!

I don't think ez-go has any thing for that. I assume you know about the clip in there since you got the one side out. I used the drum backwards on the axel a 2x2 and a dead blow to drive the axel out.

Sorry, that's the best I got.

Looks like you have a shop there .... I welded an axle nut onto a small slide hammer and used it for years of Ezgo service

Thanks for the reply guys. I actually finally got it to come out. I removed the brake drum springs and fired up my acetylene torch and heated up the end of the axle tube until it was red hot. Then I was finally able to get the axle to budge and pop out with my slide hammer.

Look at all you fancy shmancy mechanics. I just pull the brakes off, put the axle nut back on and pound on it with a mini sledge hahaha
