Default 02 PDS beep beep beep beep.....

Well, I was out of parts to put on the beast today, so I hauled out my 12 volt charger and charged up every pair of 6 volt batteries. So, I had 18 hours during charging. Remember my batteries came to me completely dry. Well, after all that charging, I had a pack voltage of 36.1 volts, but I thought that was good! Anyway, after some fumbling, I got my cart to move under its own power - forward and reverse! Yay! Also, after the charging, I was able to hook up the EZGO charger and it is now humming away! So, the question. My buzzer behind the dash keeps going beep, beep, beep, beep - an even rhythmic pulse silent pulse silent, pulse silent. So, is this the tones that are printed on the PDS box? Am I having a "1-1" condition? If so, does that mean my controller is shot? Remember the cart runs, forward and reverse. The beeping stops if I put it in maintenance mode. Thanks in advance you guys! BTW, its an '02 TXT with plain old PDS.......

If it runs in f & r, i know the answer to this one...remove cupholders (they pop out), reach up in there, pull one wire off reverse beeper...problem solved!

LOL, that is what I did, but I want to fix the problem. If there was a pattern to the beeps I wouldn't be so confused, but its just beep a second, then silent a second, beeps a second, silent a second, LOL......

OIC. I think I have to put it in diagnostic mode to get a code from it? Then why is it beep, beep, beeping at me? What is it trying to tell me?

it sounds like a low voltage alarm. in you're first poast you said the batteries were dry. they are probably shot.

Disconnect the Neg terminal and wait a half hour and let it power down.
Hook it back up and see if it does it again.
I had a cart do that to me this summer and after the power down, no issues ever came up. Go figure.

Check your battery pack with a digital meter, those dang little soc meters lie worst then your kids do when you ask if they had a party while you were gone, LOL.
