EZGO 03 TXT Eletctric 36v rear differential Issue?

I have a 2003 txt 36v electric ezgo. When I am in either forward or reverse the cart will not move and makes a pretty nasty whirring sound. Whan I jacked up the back wheels and hit the gas pedal, one wheel will spin but with little power. I am pretty new to working on golf carts. Can anyone point me in the right direction in fixing this thing?

Sounds like a stripped hub - check if one axle nut spins when the tire does not move much?

There are HD replacements available
