Default 1998 EZ Go will not turn over

Hey guys. 1998 EZGo won't turn over. It ran fine all day today. Went to get in it this evening and hit the gas pedal and nothing. No fire no nothing. I could hear the click when I hit the pedal, but nothing. Checked the battery and it's fine. Little late and dark to try anything else. Thought I would post here for some guidance. Pretty handy here. Have rebuilt jeeps, work on mowers and boats too.
Thinking it has to be something simple.

Solenoid maybe?

Any suggestions or routes to go when troubleshooting in the morning?

the click you're hearing, is it from the pedal or under the seat? At the pedal there is a microswitch (gotta get under the carts floor mat and open up a little black plate to locate it) - try jumping that first, often they go bad but will still "click" - also make sure it's actually getting power to it or it could be the keyswitch. if no-go, then You get to start checking all the "ususal suspects" such as the solenoid (next in the chain) - after the solenoid of course is the starter (same as most engines) - check everything to ensure it's getting the correct voltage, you should find a break in the path eventually and there's your huckleberry!

Check to see if you get 12 volts at the small terminals on the solenoid first. In neutral of course. If you do it is probably a bad solenoid. If not, see above.
