Default Battery light and Jerkiness

i installed a D&D 60002 motor a sw 80 solenoid and a500 amp controller now my discharge light is constantly on and cart lacks power and is jerky

Did you install bigger gauge battery cables as well?

Yes I installed #4 cables as suggested by the D&D folks.

How about the F/R switch? What year cart do you have, older carts you need to replace that switch.

that was a leader to the next question, did you run the cable using a stud through the OBC?
