Re: 1999 EZGO 36V, should i upgrade or sell
What happens if the controller decides to give up the ghost while on a steep downhill grade?
Does the spring loaded electromechanical parking brake on the backside of the motor, kick in immediately, or does the cart have to stop first? Wonder why the 2Five has four-wheel hydraulic disk brakes in addition to all the braking systems found on the RXV? |

Rxv "parking/emergency" brake is a Dead mans brake.
Without power from controller, brake locks up. 2Five is fast enough to not be a "golf cart" it is a LSV. DOT requirements apply. Lots more than 4 wheel brakes required. |

You guys probably already know this, but Jakes just came out with front hydraulic disc brakes for RXV. There's a great YouTube install video, I have them and with the rear mechanical disc's they are a great combo on my TXT.
