Problem is not "parking/emergency" brake.
The brake is only used when parking or in a panic stop. Your problem seems to be the brake pedal not returning fully. If computer detects the brake pedal depressed (even just a little) it will not go. Look for derbies or obstruction preventing return. If none found, lift mat and remove cover. Look for corrosion at brake pedal pivot. Lube pivot point with penetrating lubricant like WD-40. Good luck Keep us posted. |
