Looks like I need to cal continental directly. If you don’t mind me asking, what price did they quote you?

Actually decided to just get the ranger 160's. Little more than I want to spend but with the configuration and use I have, they are a better fit. 217 a piece after ttl & dealer prep fees. |

Re: buying batteries this week
how are the ranger's working out for you? I am going to upgrade my project cart from 36 to 48 and want to go with 6-8 volts to save weight and the need for 2 extra batteries.

Re: buying batteries this week
oh and I found them at a dealer near here for $160 a piece. Do fees bump them up near $220?

Re: buying batteries this week
I searched and called all around for pricing, availability etc and came across the same thing where they never heard of the best Trojans. I went with interstate which I have had for a year now and have been very pleased. The pricing on their batteries was all over the charts but I found a warehouse in Delaware that had the best price, delivered for free and unloaded and then loaded the old ones up.

Re: buying batteries this week
I have my new batteries finally. I checked voltage of the individuals and
4 @ 8.3v 1 @ 8.4v 1 @ 8.5v Should I worry about the differential or just drop these guys in and charge the whole pack? More information? They are new 8V Ranger 160's |

Re: buying batteries this week
I recently bought a 78 caroche that all of the batteries were shot. Spoke with a friend and he set me up with lithium ion batteries. 5 packs with 2 cells in each pack. Each cell charged is 4.2 volts totaling 42 volts. The pack of 5 cost $800.00 and works great. Now I have storage space where the other batteries were and much lighter.
