Default EzGo Wire Picture 91 Marathon

Hello, We were wondering if anyone had a photo of their solid state speed control with the solenoid and battery connections. Spent quite a while putting a 1991 Marathon together and the last touch is wiring it. We're having some trouble, and a photo from the top of the controls would be extremely helpful!! Thanks! Frustrated because we've spent a ton of money and time restoring it, but we're missing something on the wiring....

Does your controller have 3 or 4 large terminal connections?

Now I'm very confused, my 91' marathon doesn't have one of these solid state speed controllers. I've reviewed the Service manuals online to confirm. Is my cart possibly missing this? Remember I bought mine with alot of wiring issues, burnt up speed switch board, missing wiper contact, broken coil resistor pack. Been slowly getting all the parts to get this cart running correctly for my daughters.

This is from a 1994 Marathon EZGO 36V. Should be the same. Hope this helps.

1991 was the change year. Mid way through the year Ezgo introduced the new solid state speed control drive. So your cart could be either system and still be a 1991. If you are wanting to use the cart for off the road use it is advisable to convert to solid state speed control. We offer complete kits for this conversion

Below is the diagram for this cart. Note the original speed control had 4 large lugs but the cart will run fine with a 3 lug control. In the case of a 3 lug control, simply bypass the A2 lug on the control. The 2 cables shown going to control A2 would splice into one cable with no controller connection.

This could explain the difference, I must have an earlier 91' model then. Trust me I've been looking at your webpage quite a bit and will be emailing about solenoid / FNR switch. I'm not looking to make our cart off-road use. Just want the cart to drive around sub - We live in a sub with a lake / beach, and my girls just drive around on the side roads. Our cart is a major electrical nightmare, missing wires, burnt up control board, resistors broken. Surprised it was even running after reviewing all the wiring diagrams online. Me being non-electrical guy I'm learning as I go. Wiring was never my fortay.
