lol I literally just replied about doing that to someone else before reading your post. I'm going to try it this weekend I think. The weird thing about the bushings is they're almost loose on top of the leaf spring and under the a-arm but squished under the leaf spring and above the a-arm.

Yeah, I drilled my new holes between the two existing holes and in towards the middle of the cart about an inch. So you will have a triangle of holes, if that makes sense. The new holes give the risers more of a perpendicular, right angle between the control arm and leaf spring. This allows for the bushings to all compress evenly.

See post #267 on this page in my build thread: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/membe...-build-27.html

I see what you did there , thank you for the reference. I'll be sure to do it this weekend and save some $$$ on a new lift.

So I took your advice and went to Autozone. They had the bushing kit as well as a kit that also included a heavier duty spacer and plates for the bushings. $14.99 vs $22.99 which I opted for.
I'm going to get started on it tonight. I'll drill the center hole and also see if switching the A arms around makes a difference.

Thanks again for the tip on the bushings!
