On the Series Cart, the OBC provided the negative side of the Solenoid activation circuit when the charger was not plugged.

You can just disconnect the "Yellow" wire from the Solenoid small post that goes to the OBC and tape it.

You then need to run a new wire (16 ga) from that Solenoid small post directly to pack negative or B-.

You also need to run the negative wire (10 ga) from the back of the charger receptacle directly to pack negative.

You can leave the sense "Grey" wire alone since it is not used by the DPI charger and it is not connected to anything inside their charger.

awesome! thank you for your help

Just for reference, this is what you drilled out.

It's not very forgiving; drill bits are not it's friend.

Is that how a good one looks? Or is that an old one that has been drowned?

The OBC is potted with some high density styrofoam like compound, no easy way to get to any component for troubleshooting or replacement.

That picture was from a member (Dr something...) that used a scraper, heat gun, etc to dissect and get us a view of the OBC.

The interesting thing is that the blue toroidal core is just a concentrator (no electronics) for the hall effect sensor chip that is located on the gap where the red arrow is going through.
