Default Re: New OBC or DPI Charger?

I believe DPI makes 2 different chargers for Club Car. 1 with the obc and 1 without. Make sure to order the correct one.

My I ask what made you swing to the Lester over the DPI? I'm going to address this decision probably next year. Thanks

I chose the Lester on a couple factors. My Powerdrive 3 was made by Lester. Dave at Revolution recommended it. He has not steered me wrong on anything. He answered questions for me 3 years since I got my cart. I also just got my Alltrax from him. I've had some "cart electrical emergencies" that he has responded to by text and phone at hours that most humans don't do business at. So I trust what he tells me.

OBC and Controller are 2 different things....OBC tells the charger what to do. When it goes bad charger has no idea its even hooked to a cart. IMHO, it cost about the same either way, you should bypass the OBC get a DPI charger. You get a much better charger and you never have to worry about the OBC again
