I just installed one by myself. It wasn't awful. It would be much easier if I didn't have on the rear body or rear seat. I pulled the cart onto my truck to get better access underneath. Drilling it is the hardest part. The rest is just labeling wires. I had to crimp two rings on the end of wires. The rest just bolts in. My Alltrax was tuned down to 400amps for me when I purchased it so I didn't burn up my stock motor. It will lift my front tires off the ground with the torque.

It can be done from the back through the motor access cover on 2008.5 and newer with 6x8v batteries but I found it easier to remove the two middle batteries. Your 4x12v might be even easier as the controller is in the middle, not the back.

Not too bad of an install. Take a lot of pictures before you touch anything. Makes it easier when you have wiring questions. I would recommend getting the 2gauge wiring upgrade also. Gets the juice flowing better. Less resistance and gets the full potential of the Alltrax.

ScottyB @ carts unlimited has a great wiring combo kit with a diagram showing where each wire goes. Little $$ but the cables are top notch.

When you first open it up it will look a little daunting. Just take it step by step. Looks like a lot of wires but it's not as bad as it seems. I used painters tape and labeled wires before I removed them also. And then with the new 2gauge I labeled them with what color wire they were replacing.
