I think when I inquired about the rattlesnake it was around 700 but you don't need to send in the core.

Bandit is only $225 with exchange and about $100 worth of freight both ways from here, quite reasonable.

Okay, that sounds good. I see you have the Bandit motor Dannyre. Can you guys tell me the difference between the Bandit motor and the Rattlesnake motor? Is one for the Series and one for the Sepex?

Also, most importantly, how difficult is it to swap out a motor? I am very new to golf carts. I've done a bunch of cosmetic stuff like seat covers, new extended roof, dash, rear seats, etc. So I'm not completely useless, but pretty close. My cart currently has stock controller, stock F & R switch, stock solenoid, but an upgraded D & D motor which was installed by the previous owner.

bandits are made both for series and sepex drives most of the time from your original stock motor. rattlesnake and executioners are new motors which are larger (longer) more beefier then stock.

as far as replacing it pretty simple , four bolts and mine slid right off the spline. other people have had problems with them sticking on the spline and have had to put a little more work into it . keep in mind mind there is some weight to them , once they slide off the spline they are 50+ lbs of dead weight.
