No worries lol. My electrician will be here tomorrow to do some work for me. I will ask him to get me the wire I need.

Welding cable makes the best battery cables, or jumper cables. The wire you have would carry the electricy but it is way too stiff to use for battery cables, plus you would have a hard time getting good contact on the lug ends.
