is there any other way other than spending over $400 on a motor or controller to get more power?
I was looking at a pq bandit motor. other than a speed magnet is anything else done to these? they claim 25% more speed and torque...

And if you are doing all those hills and inclines, I would immediately get 2 awg cables on my machine and then look into my battery condition as it should not be as bad as you are stating unless you are overloaded on the cart.....

Hook a DVM up and lay it on your seat and see what the volts are dropping down to on the incline and creeping.

Controller is the best bang for your buck in terms of performance. The HD solenoid and 2AWG wires are for safety purposes. Starting with an aftermarket motor will still be limited by the stock 250A controller.

Loss of power. Either your batteries can't push you causing the voltage to drop (lag) or you do not have enough torque (power) to carry the needed load. If you had a higher output controller (more amperage) it would create more power (torque) allowing you to traverse inclines better and not suffer the drop.

As we all mentioned, your best starting point is an XCT controller. All of them carry maps for many motors, including your stock motor. The XCT-48300 IQ is a stock replacement with more amps and speed control. It can be adjusted via the Alltrax tool kit so you can modify it to your needs with a PC. They make a 400 and a 500 amp version, but those are more for if you plan on upgrading more down the road. If so, buy the 500 and it can be turned down for your stock motor.
