Default Strange speed issue, top speed about 9/10 mph.

2012 Club Car Precedent.
Stock plus lift and wheels.

New batteries that all test at 8.4/8.5 each after charging and 12 hours after charging.

Previously was running around 14/15. No issues.
Batteries went without a good charge for about 3 weeks after hurricane. Then we recharged. Tested normal on all batteries. Batteries watered.

Issue now is that the top speed is slower than ever before.

Did a reset of OBC by disconnected for 10-15 minutes.
Pumped pedal which has newer MCOR 25 times.
No strange throttle performance other than top speed.

Any ideas where to start troubleshooting.
I'll get data / test and report back as needed

Do the speed sensor "push test":

With the key switch OFF, push the cart by hand, it should offer resistance and the warning buzzer should sound after a few seconds.

Also check tire pressure as low pressure will slow you down. Check for dragging brakes. Check for wheel bearings not allowing wheels to spin freely...

I had the same thing the other day. The speed sensor magnet was in pieces. Takes less than 5 mins to get at it.

I would be most suspect of the speed sensor as suggested by Sergio and its and easy test to perform.

It was the speed sensor. Replace it with a spare one I had and corrected the speed issue. Thanks for all the input fellas. Love this place.
