So where are you located Chloe?

From the looks of the pictures, after you do a good clean up and inventory your parts, you might not need as much as you think.
I was under the impression it was stripped under the seat.
You did get a good deal.

I'm in Delaware and before there is too much "confusion" please call me Denny. Chloe is one of my dogs and I just threw it in as a login when I registered a few months ago.
I hope you're right. I was going to power wash everything today but the 38/40 degree weather is gonna hold me back.

Sent an email to EZGO reference the serial number. I got a reply today. They say it is indeed a 98 model Fleet cart. I asume that means it is series drive system and was built and sold as a part of a "fleet" of carts sold directly to a given course.

It looks like a good cart to start your build with! I think my next one will be an EZ GO because the metal frame will be easier for me to weld on.

If you go to your controll panel, you can put your name in your signature to avoid the confusion. You can also add the state you live in by editing your details if you wish.

I'm not trying to start anything with this, I'm only trying help.

No issues Scott. I created the "problem". I will be adding to my profile soon. I wasn't sure if I was going to stick around but since I have already learned more than I previously knew, I think that would be the smarter choice.

Thanks

a 98 is what mine is denny. you definitely have a serial drive in that cart. it normally uses a 275 amp model 1206 controller. yours looks like it just needs a good cleaning and new batteries to begin using it. good luck.

Thanks madoc1. I'm taking it to a local battery shop saturday morning for a complete electrics checkup. I'm hoping to come away with a clean bill of health and, if "the boss" allows, a complete set of batteries.
I have decided I am going with the sport windshiled, like yours. I just picked up a sheet of plywood and some indoor/outdoor carpet to make a new seat base. I'm going to go with Harley cart seats instead of rebuilding the bench.

Thanks Ken. Madness it is. Just went shopping for a new shed yesterday. I need a place I can call a work shop. Something wrong with buying a cart for a couple hundred dollars then spending a couple thousand to house it! :)
