Yamaha G29---Painting the Dash
May have put this thread in the wrong part of the forum so I will try it here....
Anybody had any luck painting the entire dash panel, cupholders, shelfs, etc? Did it last or easily scratch up? I want to paint it metallic silver to match the rest of the trim on the cart. I am afraid that it won't hold up and will scratch and get nicked up too easily. Is bonding primer a joke for use on this type of plastic prior to topcoat and clear coat? Any experience painting the dash? Pictures? How well does it hold? I think I am more worried about the storage shelves and cupholders getting dinged up after some regular use. thanks |
